Climates that are cold and cloudy or have little direct sunlight will fail with electric heating unless we go back to dirty energy which uses fire that sadly now doesn't exist in this alternate universe. Renewables just don't work unless it's a perfect environment which looks great on paper but rarely ever works in reality. There will simply be not enough electricity to heat our homes relying solely on alternate energy sources and there is a dirty side to how they are processed and made which pollute our planet even more then dirty energy does.

Also electric cars are price prohibitive the ever shrinking middle class can't afford it unless your in the upper bracket and earn triple digit budgets and even then you have to skimp and save unless you piggy back off of a rich family. These people think that they 'worked' for their fortune not realizing a lot of it is due to luck and placement.

The electric cars don't go very far before needing to be charged all the time which means more electricity to be used meaning more power plants when/if the majority of the US is all electric think of the strain on the system.

The batteries are also NOT renewable the lithium will eventually run out and there are shortages already and Asia nations own most of our world's lithium supply and a lot of lithium are used in fireworks. Especially Disney which ironically they are going more towards water shows which I think is far better for the environment instead of wasting millions of dollars in smokes every night.

No fire! Well without fire we wouldn't be able to cook do you know how important fire is for us humans to cook and eat? We need fire the fire breaks the food down so that we can use it and it feeds our brains. Electric cars need a spark without fire aka the sun we would freeze it would be and ice age of epic proportion were alive because of it! You can't power solar without light from the sun!? There just wouldn't be life well maybe but not how we know it!

I have an older Garmin nuvi from 2006 this is before the free updates yearly, I do have a newer Garmin but it's for my mother my older one gave me the cannot unlock maps on the screen one morning (North American version) will any of the downloads work for my Nuvi from the my Garmin web site.

So inaccurate. Perhaps a decade ago, before the rise of the information age really got underway, Nerds were a more ambivalent specimen, but now Geeks are king, and Nerds are just sassy trash monkeys, gagging on their bitter pill.

I'd actually say that most programmer jobs are done by Geeks, not Nerds. Geeks can be very competent, and are usually more efficient than Nerds as they are not distracted about a wider understanding of the world. Since they get things faster they are seen by managers to be doing a great job, even though the long term effect is excessive changes needed to patch the shortsighted effects. Designers are also infected by this, where they focus too much on detail and fail to make something useful. In my book if you're geeking out you're not designing.
